Une maison loft anglaise à l'allure d'un atelier industriel

Construite à la place d'un ancienne remise à carrioles, située dans un quartier d' ateliers industriels, cette maison loft en reprend les lignes afin de s'intégrer dans son environnement classé. Conçue par les architectes londoniens de TDO, elle a une surface approximative de 200m² et a été bâtie avec des normes d'isolation et de chauffage très élevées, et avec des matériaux écologiques, selon les voeux de ses propriétaires. L' intérieur rend hommage au passé industrie de son quartier avec l'utilisation des briques apparentes, de l'acier, et de fenêtres Crittal s'ouvrant sur le jardin. La cuisine verte de la marque Plain English est le centre de la vie familiale, et sa couleur rappelant la nature, se marie parfaitement avec les plans de travail en marbre et le sol en béton.

English loft house looking like an industrial workshop
Built on the site of a former coach house, located in a district of industrial workshops, this loft house takes up the lines of the original building in order to integrate into its listed environment. Designed by the London architects of TDO, it has an approximate surface area of 200m² and was built with very high insulation and heating standards, and with ecological materials, according to the wishes of its owners. The interior pays homage to the industrial past of its neighbourhood with the use of exposed brick, steel and Crittal windows opening onto the garden. Plain English's green kitchen is the centre of family life, and its colour reminiscent of nature blends perfectly with the marble worktops and concrete floor.
