Une maison bardée de bois par Joanna et Chip Gaines Fixer Upper 7

Pour Fixer Upper 7, Joanna et Chip Gaines de Magnolia, ont rénové la maison bardée de bois de Kim, qui après avoir quitté la Californie et son petit appartement a acheté sa première maison au Texas. Le but de la rénovation a été de transformer ce qui était une maison lambda en un cottage classique très lumineux, avec une belle cuisine ouverte. Cette maison construite en 1930 avait beaucoup de charme avec ses fenêtres anciennes mais était réellement très conventionnelle et avec une décoration dépassée.

Comme souvent pour cette émission, et Fixer Upper 7 n'a pas fait exception à la règle, on retrouve le style nord-américain des Gaines, fait d'une alternance de bois blanc et de bois naturel, de mobilier confortable, d'un luxe discret avec de belles matières, et d'un équilibre esthétique certain. Wood-paneled house by Joanna and Chip Gaines Fixer Upper 7

For Fixer Upper 7, Joanna and Chip Gaines of Magnolia, renovated the wood-paneled home of Kim, who after leaving California and her small flat bought her first home in Texas. The goal of the renovation was to transform what was a basic house into a bright, classic cottage with a beautiful open kitchen. This house built in 1930 had a lot of charm with its old windows but was really very conventional and outdated in its decoration.

As is often the case with this show, and Fixer Upper 7 was no exception, the Gaines' North American style of alternating white and natural woods, comfortable furnishings, understated luxury with beautiful materials, and a certain aesthetic balance is evident.
