Les éléments d'origine de cet appartement ancien rénové situé dans un immeuble construit en 1808 à Barcelone ont été soigneusement conservés tout en lui donnant une allure contemporaine. Les vieilles briques, les poutres sur le plafond voûté typiquement catalan, et le parquet à chevrons apportent un style authentique et chaleureux à ce lieu lumineux, dont le plan atypique et un peu biscornu a été parfaitement exploité.
Il s'articule en deux zones, une de jour, une de nuit, où la cuisine design noire sert de pivot. Et même si cette dernière n'est éclairée que par une petite fenêtre, grâce à sa superficie, elle est toutefois très agréable et lumineuse. On trouve tout ce que l'on aime dans les appartements actuels : deux salles de bain, de grands rangements, et des volumes bien exploités. On y ajoute le charme typique d'un appartement ancien, qui a su ici se renouveler grâce à la bonne exploitation de sa surface et du mélange de deux époques.
The original elements of this old flat in a building built in 1808 in Barcelona have been carefully preserved while giving it a contemporary look. The old bricks, the beams on the typically Catalan vaulted ceiling, and the herringbone parquet floor bring an authentic and warm style to this bright place, whose atypical and slightly unconventional layout has been perfectly exploited.
It is divided into two zones, one for the day and one for the night, where the black design kitchen acts as a hub. And even if the latter is only lit by a small window, thanks to its surface area, it is nevertheless very pleasant and bright. Everything we love about today's flats is here: two bathrooms, plenty of storage space, and well organised space. We add the typical charm of an old flat, which has been renewed here thanks to the good exploitation of its floor space and the mixture of two eras.
