The mixture of wood and stone in the fireplace, which rises to the roof peak, brings a traditional and warm touch, without being too cliché.
The illuminated ski slopes of Östra Kalven and Tandådalen are visible to the west, and while during the day some people are out on the snowy slopes, others are relaxing in the house, keeping warm by the hearth. The spaces are open on the first level and more intimate on the second, where the attic rooms seem particularly welcoming despite the simplicity of the decoration, with their sloping volumes.
