C'est au Bijenpark "le parc aux abeilles", un endroit plein de fleurs et de maisonnettes en bois, un havre de paix près d'Amsterdam, que les citadins en mal de nature fuient la grande ville pour se retrouver au calme. Nous découvrons aujourd'hui la petite maison noire de Laurent, qui a cherché longtemps un endroit pour passer de bons moments loin de son quotidien urbain et qui a pu récupérer une cabane pourrie (selon ses propres termes), et a choisi de la détruire pour en reconstruire une nouvelle plus confortable. C'est une amie designer suédoise installée en Norvège qui lui a dessiné les plans, et il l'a fait construire en Lituanie avant de l'installer dans son jardin.

Comme il s'agit là de terrains à la végétation mature, cette petite maison noire est entourée d'un bel environnement verdoyant. Il faut retenir du concept du Bijenpark que dans chaque jardin de chaque cabane, on trouve au moins un arbre rare, et ici on trouve un séquoia et un arbre de Louisiane (quelle chance !). Ici la nature reprend ses droits, les renards, les oiseaux et les lièvres pullulent pour le plus grand plaisir des occupants. Laurent a choisi de réaliser un intérieur totalement noir, assorti à l'extérieur, afin que l'intérêt se focalise sur le jardin. La petite maison noire est autonome en énergie grâce à l'installation de panneaux solaires,d' un chauffe-eau avec des bouteilles de gaz et d'un poêle à bois pour l’hiver. Une petite cuisine Ikea en pet recyclé, une salle de bain noire et blanche avec douche, toilette et micro-lavabo et un lit clos bien sombre pour bien dormir complètent le tableau de cette jolie cabane. Laurent's little black house in the middle of nature near Amsterdam

It is in Bijenpark "the bee park", a place full of flowers and wooden huts, a haven of peace near Amsterdam, that city dwellers in search of nature escape the big city to find themselves in peace. Today we discover the little black house of Laurent, who searched for a long time for a place to spend some quality time away from his urban life and who was able to recover a rotten cabin (in his own words), and chose to destroy it to rebuild a new and more comfortable one. A Swedish designer friend living in Norway drew up the plans, and he had it built in Lithuania before installing it in his garden.

As the land has mature vegetation, the little black house is surrounded by beautiful green surroundings. The concept of Bijenpark is that in every garden of every cabin there is at least one rare tree, and here there is a sequoia and a Louisiana tree (what a luck!). Here nature takes over, foxes, birds and hares abound to the delight of the occupants. Laurent has chosen to create a completely black interior, matching the exterior, so that the focus is on the garden. The cabin is self-sufficient in energy thanks to the installation of solar panels, a water heater with gas bottles and a wood stove for the winter. An ikea kitchenette made of recycled pet, a black and white bathroom with shower, toilet and micro-sink and a dark enclosed bed for a good night's sleep complete the picture of this lovely cabin.
