Riverstone's CouplePod est une petite maison container entourée d'acier à l'allure atypique, qui a été construite à partir de deux modules maritimes, dont les formes courbées lui donnent l'allure d'une cabine spatiale. Elle se trouve dans la région viticole qui se trouve autour de Cape Town en Afrique du Sud, et a une vue magnifique sur la chaîne de montagnes Mostertshoek depuis ses fenêtres et ses terrasses. Un vaste patio accueille une baignoire extérieure.
L'intérieur est chaleureux, et l'on devine à peine l'ancienne vie de sa structure en container, si ce n'est dans la chambre où les portes de la salle de bain sont des témoignages de cette existence autrefois maritime. The interior is warm and inviting, and you can barely make out the former life of its container structure, except in the bedroom where the bathroom doors are evidence of this once maritime existence. Designed for two people, this little house has plenty to offer in terms of decor, with wood contrasting with its steel exterior.
