Son allure n'a rien de traditionnel, mais est minimaliste et élégante, avec des lignes géométriques et un toit en métal. Son pignon vitré permet de s'immerger totalement dans la nature environnante. Sa façade est faite de cèdre qui vieillit en se grisant naturellement, excepté si on lui applique un traitement particulier pour lui conserver sa couleur brune et chaude.
À l'intérieur, c'est un mélange de matériaux naturels qui a été privilégié, avec un sol en ardoise qui s'associe au bois pour s'intégrer au mieux dans son paysage de forêt. La maison est économe en énergie grâce à l'installation d'un chauffage géothermique. En plus des deux chambres qu'elle comporte, on trouve aussi sur le terrain, un studio séparé pour accueillir les amis de passage. There's nothing traditional about the look, but it's minimalist and elegant, with geometric lines and a metal roof. Its glazed gable allows you to fully immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. The facade is made of cedar, which naturally greys over time unless it is treated to retain its warm brown colour.
Inside, the emphasis is on a mix of natural materials, with a slate floor that blends in with the wood to blend seamlessly with the forest landscape. The house is energy-efficient thanks to the installation of geothermal heating. In addition to the two bedrooms, there is also a separate studio on the grounds to accommodate visiting friends.
