Ce qui aurait pu être un banal deux-pièces dans un immeuble ancien, a été transformé après sa rénovation en un appartement de 43m2 aux espaces ouverts et contemporains, une sorte de mini loft dans un bâtiment datant du début du 20e siècle à Stockholm. Il aurait suffit de fermer l'espace dévolu à la chambre, mais cela n'a pas été le choix des architectes dans ce cas, qui ont préféré laisser la zone nuit ouverte et placée sur une estrade, afin de conserver l'impression d'espace dans un appartement de moins de 50m2.
La présence d'une fenêtre dans la chambre autorisait la création d'un véritable deux-pièces dans ce grand studio, mais cet espace peut se fermer simplement avec un rideau léger pour le rendre plus intime. La décoration épurée rend l'atmosphère de cet appartement très élégante, et la palette de couleurs douces comme le beige, ou le vert sauge, lui apporte un supplément de sérénité.
What could have been an ordinary one-bedroom in an old building has been transformed after renovation into a 43m2 flat with open, contemporary spaces, a sort of mini loft in a building dating from the beginning of the 20th century in Stockholm. It would have been sufficient to close off the bedroom area, but this was not the choice of the architects in this case, who preferred to leave the sleeping area open and placed on a platform, in order to retain the impression of space in a flat of less than 50m2.
The presence of a window in the bedroom made it possible to create a real one-bedroom in this large studio, but this space can simply be closed off with a light curtain to make it more intimate. The uncluttered decor gives this flat a very elegant feel, and the palette of soft colours such as beige and sage green adds an extra touch of serenity.
