Rénovée par le designer autodidacte Thomas Wegner, cette exceptionnelle maison en pierres du 18e siècle, est une ancienne finca sur l'île de Majorque, nommée Ses Aigos. Il lui a conservé avec attention son architecture authentique en harmonie avec le paysage. Ancien réservoir d'eau, le bâtiment a été repensé et agrandi pour devenir une finca alliant patrimoine historique et design contemporain. La structure en pierre d'origine constitue la base de la maison, préservée avec soin et complétée par de nouveaux volumes.

Elle se trouve sur un grand terrain verdoyant qui regarde vers la mer et bénéficie de la présence d'une grande piscine de 27m de long. Elle est également proche des plages de l'île. Cette maison réinterprète l'art de vivre méditerranéen traditionnel à travers une perspective contemporaine, avec l'utilisation de matériaux bruts et locaux. Bien qu'ils soient épurés, les intérieurs ne manquent pas de chaleur, grâce à ces choix judicieux. Les intérieurs comme les extérieurs, invitent à la solitude si on le souhaite mais également à la convivialité.

Renovated by self-taught designer Thomas Wegner, this exceptional 18th-century stone house is a former finca on the island of Majorca, called Ses Aigos. He has carefully preserved its authentic architecture in harmony with the landscape. Formerly a water reservoir, the building has been redesigned and extended to become a finca that combines historical heritage with contemporary design. The original stone structure forms the basis of the house, carefully preserved and complemented by new volumes.

It is set in a large, leafy plot that looks towards the sea, and benefits from a large, 27-metre-long swimming pool. It is also close to the island's beaches. This house reinterprets the traditional Mediterranean art of living through a contemporary perspective, using raw, local materials. Although uncluttered, the interiors are not lacking in warmth, thanks to these judicious choices. Both interiors and exteriors are inviting places to be alone, if you wish, but also to enjoy each other's company.
