La rénovation douce d'un appartement de 66m2 à Paris par Studio Castille

Studio Castille a sublimé l’appartement d’un jeune couple qui souhaitait le rénover sans tout enlever de l'existant. Cette rénovation douce sans tout changer dans cet appartement du centre de Paris, a commencé par conserver le sol de la cuisine. Au cinquième étage de l'immeuble, cet appartement de 66m2 se compose d'un salon, d'une cuisine, de deux chambres et d'une salle de bain. L'objectif principal était d'en affiner l'esthétique, et tout d'abord de rénover la cuisine et la salle de bain, comme souvent dans les appartements anciens.

Le budget était serré et le délai imparti de trois mois, et il fallait composer avec l'existant en faisant preuve d'ingéniosité, mais sans faire l'impasse sur une rénovation aboutie et réussie. Le carrelage aux motifs vintage de la cuisine, héritage des générations précédentes, a été conservé par choix. Son graphisme apporte une véritable personnalité à la pièce, et mêlé au mobilier aux lignes pures et aux teintes douces, donne une atmosphère équilibrée, et pleine de charme et de caractère. Partout, l'ambiance est homogène, avec l'utilisation d'une palette de beiges, de bois naturel, et de matières chaleureuses. Soft renovation of a 66m2 flat in Paris by Studio Castille

Studio Castille sublimated the flat of a young couple who wanted to renovate it without removing everything that existed. This gentle renovation, without changing everything in this flat in the centre of Paris, began with the conservation of the kitchen floor. On the fifth floor of the building, this 66 m2 flat comprises a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main aim was to refine the aesthetic, and first of all to renovate the kitchen and bathroom, as is often the case in older flats.

With a tight budget and a three-month deadline, and it was necessary to work ingeniously with what already existed, without compromising on an accomplished and successful renovation. The vintage patterned tiling in the kitchen, a legacy of previous generations, was retained by choice. Its design brings a real personality to the room, and combined with the furniture's clean lines and soft colours, creates a balanced atmosphere, full of charm and character. Throughout, the atmosphere is homogenous, with the use of a palette of beiges, natural woods and warm materials.
