Soigneusement rénové par Luv Studio sur l'île d'Ibiza, cet ancien monastère du 18e siècle a été transformé en une superbe maison de vacances avec piscine par Studio LUV. Baptisé Casa Bougainvillea, c'est un refuge au calme qui allie la richesse historique et l'art de vivre des Baléares, entre racines rustiques, et vie au soleil. Le défi à relever par les professionnels était de créer une maison à l'agencement moderne et au design intemporel, respectant l'héritage historique du bâtiment et son environnement culturel et naturel.
D'une surface de plus de 600m2, la maison semble toutefois pleine d'espaces intimes, où l'on se sent bien, entre décoration naturelle et ouverture sur l'extérieur. Les grosses poutres anciennes qui habillent le plafond de cet ancien monastère du 18e siècle, y sont sans doute pour quelque chose. L'extérieur de la Casa Bougainvillea est un havre de paix et de tranquillité, où on rencontre des figuiers centenaires, ainsi qu' une flore et une végétation indigènes luxuriantes. Des pergolas en bois filtrent la lumière et permettent de profiter de ces extérieurs, tout en étant abrités à l'ombre. Carefully renovated by Luv Studio on the island of Ibiza, this former 18th-century monastery has been transformed into a superb holiday home with swimming pool by Studio LUV. Known as Casa Bougainvillea, it is a peaceful retreat that combines the rich history and art of living of the Balearic Islands, with its rustic roots and life in the sun. The challenge faced by the professionals was to create a house with a modern layout and timeless design, respecting the building's historical heritage and its cultural and natural environment.
With a surface area of over 600m2, the house nonetheless feels full of intimate spaces, where you can feel at ease, between natural decoration and openness to the outside world. The large old beams that adorn the ceiling of this former 18th-century monastery undoubtedly have something to do with this. The exterior of Casa Bougainvillea is a haven of peace and tranquillity, with century-old fig trees and lush native flora and vegetation. Wooden pergolas filter the light and allow you to enjoy the outdoors, while being sheltered in the shade.
