Sur la côte nord de Bahia, entre mer et rivière, le projet Modular Bahia imaginé par le studio UNA barbara e valentim propose une maison préfabriquée modulaire en bois, respectueuse du climat tropical et intégrée au paysage. Construite sur une péninsule, cette maison se divise en trois volumes indépendants, reliés par un axe central ponctué de patios ouverts. Cette configuration favorise l’intimité et la cohabitation harmonieuse des habitants, tout en offrant des vues saisissantes sur la mer, la forêt et la rivière.
Le système de construction repose sur une ossature en bois et des panneaux CLT (bois lamellé-croisé). Contrairement aux modèles préfabriqués classiques, cette solution modulaire permet une grande liberté d’aménagement tout en assurant un montage rapide et propre. L’architecture valorise les matériaux naturels, avec des murs et plafonds en bois apparent, de larges baies vitrées ombragées, et de vastes terrasses qui prolongent les espaces intérieurs. Pensée dans une logique durable, cette maison préfabriquée en modulaire en bois intègre ventilation naturelle, réutilisation de l’eau et protection solaire, offrant un confort optimal sans recourir à la climatisation. On the north coast of Bahia, between the sea and the river, the Modular Bahia project designed by the UNA barbara e valentim studio offers a modular prefabricated wooden house that is respectful of the tropical climate and integrated into the landscape. Built on a peninsula, this house is divided into three independent volumes, connected by a central axis punctuated by open patios. This configuration promotes privacy and harmonious cohabitation among residents, while offering breathtaking views of the sea, forest and river.
The construction system is based on a wooden frame and CLT (cross-laminated timber) panels. Unlike traditional prefabricated models, this modular solution allows for great freedom of design while ensuring quick and clean assembly. The architecture highlights natural materials, with exposed wooden walls and ceilings, large shaded bay windows, and spacious terraces that extend the interior spaces. Designed with sustainability in mind, this modular prefabricated wooden house incorporates natural ventilation, water reuse and sun protection, offering optimal comfort without the need for air conditioning.
