La rénovation d’un appartement de 27m2 par une designer a donné une décoration lumineuse et élégante aux clins d’œil Coco Chanel
Comment transformer un petit deux-pièces vieillot en bijou lumineux et raffiné ? La designer Olga Petrova-Podolskaya a relevé le défi avec brio, avec la rénovation d’un appartement de 27m2 dans un immeuble de 1900. Et c'est ainsi que nous découvrons un espace réinventé, lumineux, fonctionnel, et délicatement ponctué de clins d’œil néoclassiques et mode. Dans cet appartement tout respirait la nostalgie d’un temps révolu : murs ternes, agencement contraignant, absence de rénovation depuis plus de 40 ans. La designer a choisi de repenser totalement l’espace, en supprimant notamment la conduite de gaz et en fusionnant les différents espaces pour créer une atmosphère plus ouverte et accueillante.
Les carreaux noir et blanc du couloir rappellent les sols d’époque de l’immeuble, tandis que la cuisine se transforme en véritable objet d’art. Ses façades ont été inspirées par la palette emblématique en noir et blanc et l'escalier en miroir de la maison de mode Chanel. Dans la chambre, le bar BOY rend hommage à la romance de Coco Chanel et Arthur Capel avec un placage bleu profond et des détails couture. Le mobilier sur mesure, mêlé à des trouvailles vintage, confère à ce mini-appartement pensé comme une suite hôtelière pour la location, un caractère unique et sophistiqué. How to transform a small, outdated one-bedroom apartment into a bright and refined jewel? The designer Olga Petrova-Podolskaya brilliantly met the challenge with the renovation of a 27m2 apartment in a 1900 building. And so we discover a reinvented space, bright, functional, and delicately punctuated with neoclassical and fashionable nods. In this apartment, everything breathed nostalgia for a bygone era: dull walls, restrictive layout, lack of renovation for over 40 years. The designer chose to completely rethink the space, notably by removing the gas line and merging the different areas to create a more open and welcoming atmosphere.
The black and white tiles in the hallway recall the building's original floors, while the kitchen transforms into a true work of art. Its facades were inspired by the iconic black and white palette and mirrored staircase of the Chanel fashion house. In the bedroom, the BOY bar pays homage to Coco Chanel and Arthur Capel's romance with deep blue veneer and couture details. The custom-made furniture, mixed with vintage finds, gives this mini-apartment, designed as a hotel suite for rental, a unique and sophisticated character.
