La designer Lindsey Adelman est l'actuelle propriétaire de cette maison de ville ancienne, construite en 1901 à Brooklyn, qui est bien entendu le show-room parfait pour présenter ses créations, avec plus de 30 luminaires personnalisés qu'elle y a installés. Ils se conjuguent avec un intérieur à la décoration design où les détails originaux de la maison sont encore présents et mis en valeur. Sur quatre niveaux, la maison déroule ses beaux espaces élégants, et possède en outre, le Saint Graal : un jardin privé à la végétation luxuriante.
Ses belles arches, ses parquets chaleureux, ses hautes plafonds agrémentés de moulures et des rosaces en plâtre, ses volets intérieurs en bois et ses cheminées en marbre se conjuguent avec des éléments plus actuels, comme les canapés Togo français, une icône du design contemporain. Les larges espaces quoique respectant l'architecture d'origine de cette maison de ville ancienne, sont ouverts et lumineux, comme dans la cuisine avec îlot, où l'on trouve également un espace repas. Designer Lindsey Adelman is the current owner of this old townhouse, built in 1901 in Brooklyn, which is of course the perfect showroom to display her creations, with more than 30 custom light fixtures she has installed. They are combined with a design interior where the original details of the house are still present and highlighted. On four levels, the house unfolds its beautiful and elegant spaces, and also has the Holy Grail: a private garden with lush vegetation.
Its beautiful arches, warm parquet floors, high ceilings decorated with mouldings and plaster rosettes, interior wooden shutters and marble fireplaces are combined with more contemporary elements, such as the French Togo sofas, an icon of contemporary design. The large spaces, while respecting the original architecture of this old townhouse, are open and bright, as in the kitchen with island, where there is also a dining area.
